Tláloc [Tla-loc] is one of the oldest and formidable gods in the Aztec culture. He is known as the ruler of the third sun and also as the deity of rain, water, lightning and agriculture. Tláloc is seen as both a kindhearted god providing life-giving rain but also as a relentless and destructive deity when he sent storms and drought.
